Pam Mulcahy, Assistant Principal
Ms. Mulcahy began her teaching career in 2005 and has proudly served students of Horry County Schools in various capacities for the past thirteen years. She was a part of the original staff that helped Ocean Bay Elementary open its doors to the community in 2006. She served as a first grade teacher for nine years at OBE before taking a position as an instructional coach at Lakewood Elementary. Ms. Mulcahy returned to Ocean Bay Elementary in August of 2017 to serve in a new role as part-time lead interventionist, part-time assistant principal.
Originally from New York, Ms. Mulcahy came to South Carolina to attend Coastal Carolina University. While earning her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, she was also a member of the Coastal Women’s soccer team. After several years in the classroom, she returned to CCU to pursue a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Mulcahy is proud to be part of OBE’s past, and honored to be part of its future. She is passionate about fostering a love for learning and committed to creating a culture and environment where all students feel valued and successful in their learning journey.
